Hunting and Capping

All participants MUST sign a release.
Releases for minors can ONLY be signed by a parent or legal guardian Capping Fees :
Weekend Hunts: Adults - $100 (limited to 3 caps per season) Juniors - $25 Training Hunts (weekdays): Adults - $50 (limited to 4 caps per season) Guests MUST contact the Field Secretary Theresa Lazares ([email protected]) in advance of any activity to be sure we can accommodate you and get a signed release for the day.

Training hunt capping policy: Non-members must sign a release EVERY time they hunt with WHC. To join us for a training hunt, please contact the Field Secretary (Theresa Lazares at [email protected]) 48 hours before the hunt to confirm that the hunt will be appropriately staffed for guests. Signed release and capping fee must be paid before departing to the fixture. We cannot accept capping fees in the field.
Guest policy: Guests are welcome to cap with WHC. We request that guests are accompanied by their sponsoring member for the duration of the hunt; in the event that a guest does not know a member or their sponsor isn't able to ride with them we're happy to arrange for a member to ride with them. Unaccompanied guests need to give the Field Secretary or MFH at least 48 hours notice before coming to hunt. Typically guests ride in second flight or below, though exceptions can be made at the discretion of an MFH.
